Ants

Lasius Niger (Black Ant)

These well known little creatures are very common in the UK . They are a social insect and live in a well organised matriarchal society. You may often find nests of Red or Black Ants in your garden, but the Black Ants can be a real nuisance in summer when they enter buildings in search of food. They do not generally carry disease and are not endangered. We can cure this problem.

A rarer visitor to our shores are Pharoah Ants. Click here to read about them.
